Led by a particularly salient Jakobi Meyers, the Raiders defeated the Broncos for the eighth consecutive time.

Since the dismissal of Josh McDaniels and the promotion of Antonio Pierce to head coach, the Raiders have oscillated between the good, the less good and the promising, in particular thanks to a defensive squad with newfound fundamentals. If the extension of Pierce's mandate, beyond his interim, depended on this last regular season game against the Broncos, the touchdown scored by Jerry Jeudy (3 receptions, 79 yards, 1 touchdown) will certainly not have played a role in the favor of the former linebacker of the Giants (7-7).
Receiving a seemingly innocuous pass, Jeudy in turn played against Robert Spillane, Tre'von Moehrig, Brandon Facyson and Marcus Epps, whose missed tackles were not the greatest tributes to their coach.

Everything started well for the Raiders, who took the lead at the end of the first quarter, thanks to a trick play that Jakobi Meyers was responsible for transforming. racing into the goal (7-0).
Fortunately, Vegas can always count on its best offensive player to get its head back on track. After the Broncos equalized and a field goal from Daniel Carlson to regain the advantage (10-7), Davante Adams (5 receptions, 46 yards, 1 touchdown) concluded a series of 98 yards, brilliantly led by Zamir White ( 25 races, 112 yards) and Aidan O'Connell (17-7), with his seventh touchdown of the season, just before the break.

In a meeting without stakes, the two teams took a senatorial pace until the final whistle. The opportunity for Maxx Crosby (2 tackles for loss, 1 sack) to record his first sack in three games and further improve his career record (14.5). On the Broncos side, it was Alex Singleton (12 tackles including 1 for loss) who took advantage of the ambient apathy to write a little piece of history, establishing the new record for tackles made in a season by a Bronco (174), previously owned by Michael Brooks.
Before this season, Jakobi Meyers (3 receptions, 61 yards, 1 touchdown, 1 rush, 5 yards, 1 touchdown) had never scored two touchdowns in the same game. Perhaps inspired by his new colors, he corrected the situation in his first match in the Raiders jersey in week 1… Against the Broncos. This Sunday, to conclude the season, he did it again with his second career double… Against the Broncos (24-7).
Javonte Williams' second touchdown of the season was quite insignificant, Vegas having already taken a significant lead (24-14) and even further worsening the score with the boot of Daniel Carlson (27-14). For the eighth straight time, the Raiders got the better of their division rivals, their longest current winning streak. For the eighth consecutive year, the Broncos will not see the final stages. The two franchises end the season with the same results, some of the same questions, but certainly not with the same dynamics. See you next year.
