White Sox: shots injured two women at the stadium last night

I don’t know if many of you listened to the thrilling duel between the Oakland A’s and the Chicago White Sox last night. I imagine not.

Unless you are there, the fact that shots were fired is glossed over since the match was not interrupted, but it did happen. In the stadium.

In the middle of the game.

In the popular stands of the left field, gunshots injured two women (42 and 26 years old) during the game. The section was evacuated.

Of the two, the 42-year-old woman was hospitalized in Chicago after being shot in the leg. His condition is said to be stable.

The 26-year-old reportedly refused hospital treatment after suffering what is described as a tear in her abdomen.

It’s unclear what happened or how such a weapon entered the stadium, but clearly it did some damage.

The people of the section have changed places for the rest of the game.

At no time, according to the police report, did authorities notice an “active threat” stalking fellow enthusiasts. The situation obviously improved for the future.

I don’t know if the two victims agree with such an assertion, considering that they received a shot from a weapon, anyway…

It’s unclear what’s going on with the person who fired the shot.

Gun control in the United States has always been a big problem and here we have (unfortunately) another example this morning of the whole thing not being taken seriously enough.

  • The Mets are last in the East.
  • Things continue to go well for Édouard Julien.
  • No game without points or hits yesterday in Detroit. Framber Valdez had one after seven innings, but he didn’t pitch in the eighth.
  • Injured or not, Shohei Ohtani is powerful.
  • Beautiful moment yesterday in Milwaukee.
