In 2022, the Blue Jays were able to count on Kevin Gausman. The pitcher could very well have been invited to the All-Star Game, he who obtained great performances. He also finished in the top-10 of the Cy Young race for the second time in his career.
However, there was little talk about him due to the performance of a certain Alek Manoah.
At the start of the 2022 season, there were doubts about his performance. After all, he had just had the season of his career in San Francisco and he had been signed at a high price as a free agent by the Blue Jays.

If he can be an excellent #2, Pete Walker and John Schneider won’t have any complaints.
