The Cardinals won the National Central Division title

For the first time since 2014, when he wore the colors of the Angels, Albert Pujols can celebrate a division title.

After all, when we look at the standings, we see that the Brewers no longer have any chance of winning the Central Division of the National.

On the sidelines of a 6-2 win over Milwaukee, Oliver Marmol’s men were able to celebrate the division title in style in the locker room.

And Albert Pujols, with his 700 home runs in the regular season, has spoken. He mentioned that he was grateful to see the guys fighting with him and that he wanted to go for the World Series.

Nolan Arenado, who spent the majority of his career in the Dodgers division, therefore saw his first career division title.

Pujols, Adam Wainwright and Yadier Molina will therefore have one last chance to win together. They should face, in the series of the best second, the worst qualified team in the National.

It’s also fun for Paul Goldschmidt, who could win the MVP.

Note that with the qualification of the Cardinals, all divisions now have at least one team that is guaranteed to make the playoffs.

There are already five division champions (Dodgers, Astros, Yankees, Guardians and Cardinals). The Mets and the Braves, two clubs guaranteed to participate in the playoffs, are fighting for the title in the East of the National.

The winner between the Mets and the Braves will likely skip the wild card round and the other club will host two or three Nationals best runners-up games at home. But in the short term, the clubs are simply looking to be able to play despite the weather conditions.

Note also that the Padres, Phillies and Brewers are fighting for the last two places available in the series in the National.

Who do you think will qualify?
