So, SNY reports that the name of the interior to the three All-Star selections appeared this summer in discussions between the leaders of Minnesota and those of other teams, just before the Draft. Without knowing whether these discussions were sufficiently serious and extensive.
Information at first sight surprising, while Tim Connelly, the president of the franchise, recently explained that the association Karl-Anthony Towns – Rudy Gobert was the major issue of the next Wolves season and that Chris Finch, the coach of the team, works its offensive diagrams according to this same duo of pivots.
Except that it would not be completely insane to see “KAT” leave Minneapolis either, because Anthony Edwards has just been extended to the maximum by Minnesota, eager to place his destiny in the hands of his young nugget. In this sense, transferring the 27-year-old Dominican would better balance the workforce around “Ant”, while recovering why not a few rounds of Draft in the lot…
Recall that Karl-Anthony Towns is under contract until 2028, since his extension of 224 million dollars initialed last summer.
