The news was officially announced by the capital team on Wednesday.
Confirmation also for the jerseys. The colors remain the same, but the outfits take a resolutely modern turn.
The Commanders name is displayed on the front of the home shirt. A stylistic idea that frankly did not work for the Browns, who ended up returning to their traditional jerseys five years later.
