The Jazz is already one of the big winners of the off-season. Not content with having recovered John Collins, without losing much, Utah also retained Talen Horton-Tucker and Jordan Clarkson, since the two decided to activate their “player option” to go through with their contract. The franchise will be able to rely on almost the same group as last season, and this continuity could continue for several more seasons.
THE Deseret News, which includes information from Marc Stein, reports that the leaders are already discussing the extension of Clarkson’s contract. At the end of his career best season, the former best sixth man of the season would be on the verge of committing for three more years. Given the state of the market and current salaries, he can hope for a contract of around 75 million over three years.
