Contacted by DNA of Sports, the agent of Theo Maledon confirms the former Thunder point guard has no plans to return to Europe after being cut by the Rockets.
Silver medalist at the European Championship, the Frenchman should sign a “two-way contract” by the end of the week, his agent tells us. This means that Theo Maledon will be integrated into the workforce of a franchise and its affiliated G-League team, and that he will be able to play up to 50 games in the NBA if necessary.
A few days before the start of the regular season, several teams still have a place for a “two-way contract”. These are the Hornets, Clippers, Pelicans, Mavericks, Blazers and Wizards.
After LaMelo Ball’s injury, maybe Charlotte would be the best option to show off.
