Stats & Highlights | The Thunder ensures, the Sixers collapse

The Thunder ends its delicate “road trip” to the West on a good note. For the fourth time this year, the Oklahoma City team won over the Blazers. A victory, carried by the 37 points of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the 31 points of Jalen Williamsnot so easy to achieve despite the gap in the standings between the two teams.

It must be said that the five opposite, led by Anfernee Simons (29 points), were running at full speed. Trailing by 16 points in the first period, the Blazers (17v-44d), with a Rayan Rupert to 3 points (1/6) in 18 minutes, found a way to get back to one possession four minutes from the end. But the Thunder (43v-19d) held on in the money time.

The Grizzlies don't give up

Just ahead of the Blazers in the West, the Grizzlies (22v-41d) won against the Sixers (35v-27d). After being 15 points behind, the teammates of Jaren Jackson Jr. (30 points, 11 rebounds and 6 blocks) limited their opponents to 16 units in the last largely won period (16-34). Alongside Nicolas Batum (10 points), Kelly Oubre Jr. took control (25 points but 7/21) of the Philly attack, still deprived of Tyrese Maxey and of course Joel Embiid.

Nick Nurse's men continue to slide in the rankings where the Hawks (28v-34d) tend in the opposite direction. This night, the team led by Saddiq Bey And Bogdan Bogdanovic (23 points each) took another step towards the “play-in” by beating the Cavs (40v-22d), deprived of three starters (Donovan Mitchell, Evan Mobley and Max Strus). A strange playoff match Or Jarrett Allen (18 points and 19 rebounds) and his team scored 40 points in the third, then 12 in the last…
