What will the first face to face between Jordan Poole and Draymond Green look like next season? At the house of 2K Sports, we have the answer since this duel between the now ex-teammates is featured in the first trailer for NBA 2K24. We see Poole, in the jersey of the Wizards, challenge Green in “isolation”.
This first trailer is dedicated to ProPlaythis unique function dedicated to next-generation consoles such as the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. “This feature directly transfers real NBA game footage into animations for 2K24” we explain at 2K Sports. The effects on shooting and dribbling would be particularly visible, and thanks to ProPlay, the animations can now come from real NBA games. No more bringing players into the studio for motion capture.
“Shooting, movement, dribbling, rebounding, blocking, passing, and free throwing are different in NBA 2K24 New Gen because they were captured in real-time scenarios” continues Mike Wang, the person in charge of the “gameplay”. He thus takes his example from Kevin Durant, whose shooting and movements were difficult to model in the studio.

This year, NBA 2K24 is available in three editions: the NBA 2K24 Kobe Bryant Editionthere NBA 2K24 Black Mamba Editionand the brand new NBA 2K24 25th Anniversary Edition, which includes a 12-month subscription to NBA League Pass. All editions of NBA 2K24 are available in preorder now, and prices range from 59.99 euros to 149.99 euros.

Dual-gen access is included for NBA 2K24 Black Mamba Edition and NBA 2K24 25th Anniversary Edition on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One and allows one version of the game to be played on each console generation within from the same family of consoles.
