Jamal Murray still in doubt about a return this season

Was Nikola Jokic finally right not to get carried away with the future returns of Jamal Murray and Michael Porter Jr.? This is quite possible because according to the denver postthe return of the playmaker is still uncertain.

There is still a month of regular season, and even if physically, Murray is getting closer, nothing is recorded. It would be 50-50 and, according to our colleagues, unlike the Clippers with Kawhi Leonard and Paul George, the Nuggets would be open to a return on any date.

However, the decision remains that of the player. Clearly, eleven months after his injury to the cruciate ligament of the knee, is he mentally ready to revive a few days before the playoffs?

For now, Murray and the franchise are talking on a daily basis and the latter is testing his body to see how it reacts to the efforts. Obviously, physically, some days are better than others. The next steps for him will be three-on-three and four-on-four.

Moreover, the possibility of seeing Murray, like Michael Porter Jr., make a switch to the G-League to speed up the preparation is not yet ruled out. Finally, if the return of the interior seems more likely than that of his teammate, the two courses are quite distinct for the Nuggets. Put simply, Murray will return if he’s totally ready to do so, whether Porter Jr. has returned or not.
