For a ridiculous confusion, a spectator files a complaint against Bradley Beal

“You made me lose $1,300!” You shit! ». This is what launched a spectator to Bradley Beal last Tuesday after the Wizards lost to Orlando. The case could have ended there, and the All-Star rear is neither the first nor the last to suffer derogatory remarks from the public on the way to the locker room. Except that Beal turned towards the group which had launched this sentence to him. He approached a person and, with a wave of his hand, knocked off his cap and at the same time touched the left side of his head. According TMZthe exchange lasted almost a minute and Beal said to him: Keep your money. I don’t care about your bets and your stakes. That’s not why I play! » Except that it wasn’t the person who had called out to him but his friend.

The case could have ended there, except that ESPN reports that the viewer filed a complaint against Beal for touching him. According to the video of the facts, in possession of the police, this same spectator nevertheless apologizes to Beal, explaining that he had not intended to offend him. The lawsuit says there are “probable” grounds to charge Beal with simple assault and battery and that charges will be filed with the state’s attorney’s office.

Except that for the moment, no charge has been retained a week after the facts. On the Magic side, we let justice take care of it, while neither the Wizards nor the NBA have yet reacted.
