According to NFL Media, Rams authorize Matthew Stafford to speak to other teams in order to know its value.
This does not mean that an exchange will take place. But, with this authorization, the Rams make the Quarterback understand that the short -term future will probably be done without it. The Los Angeles franchise could therefore be one of the many teams looking for a new quarterback for the 2025 season.
In an interview granted after the elimination of Rams in the playoffs, Matthew Stafford declares that he still wants to play football. For his part, the Rams coach Sean Mcvay hopes that the quarterback situation would be settled as soon as possible.

A future on the East Coast for Matthew Stafford?
