Michael Pittman is injured
Michael Pittman (WR, Colts) left the end of weekends due to an injury. The player was seen with a knee bandage. Several media reports that the injury may not be so serious. The colts indicate that additional examinations will be carried out.
Michael Pittman could therefore be put aside until the beginning of the real training camp to take no risk. Already deprived of a launcher, it would be a shame for the colts not to have their recipient number 1 during the camp.
Nick Chubb is getting closer to Texans
According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Media, the Texans and Nick Chubb (RB) are close to an agreement. A contract could even be signed this Monday, if the runner succeeds in Texans' medical tests and exams.
Seriously injured in the knee at the start of the 2023 season, Nick Chubb only came back until week 6 in 2024 before getting injured again on weekdays 14. Time for him, win 332 yards and score 3 touchdowns. The talent is there, but the question of the state of health remains central in the Nick Chubb file.
Gabe Davis visiting the saints
After the Giants and the Steelers, Gave Davis (WR) is visiting the saints. The former Bills and Jaguars receiver is looking for a season's contract according to NFL Media.
Logic for a player who after a disappointing season, and truncated by injuries, seeks to bounce back. On the other hand, the choice of saints can leave doubtful given the situation at the Quarterback post. In addition, with the competition from the veteran Brandin Cooks and Rasheed Shaheed, the status of number 2 would be far from being acquired for Davis.
They wait again and again …
Jalen Ramsey (CB, Dolphins) and Trey Hendrickson (DE, Bengals) continue to miss the activities of their respective team. Both, they are still awaiting a resolution in the conflict between them to their franchise.
Jalen Ramsey is waiting for Miami to find a team for an exchange. According to ESPN, several teams have been interested but the money guaranteed on the player's contract is blocking. Still according to ESPN, we come to a point where the player's dismissal becomes the most likely option.
On the Bengals and Trey Hendrickson side, no exchange in view. The Bengals would have said no to all the proposals of other teams. On the other hand, according to Sports Illustrated, Cincinnati still does not want to offer around 35 million per year in Hendrickson. A sum to which players like Maxx Crosby (DE, Raiders), Nick Bosa (of, 49ers) or Danielle Hunter (de, Texans) had had the right (, Texans). The defender expects this sum at least. Discussions are therefore brought up.
Derrick Henry in the cinema?
During the Dan Patrick Show (famous radio-tested sports debate program), Derrick Henry (RB, Ravens) declared his “passion” for actor Adam Sandler and his films. After the show, the actor announced that he will offer a role in one of his future films to Derrick Henry if the player runs for 2000 yards this season.
Challenge taken up? Not impossible for Henry who already succeeded in 2020. Last year, he had traveled 1921 yards with the Ravens. However, no player has ever managed to make 2 seasons at 2000 or more yards. In case of success, Henry could therefore still open the doors of canton but also those of Hollywood.
Musketeers are returning to victory
Finally ! After 5 defeats against the Rhein Fire, the Parisians finally came to the end of the Germans this Sunday. The Musketeers prevail with the way on German lands on the score of 31 to 7. There was not really a match with an excellent start of the game which allowed visitors to quickly lead 17 to 0 at the end of the first quarter. With a touchdown in the 3rd and 4th quarter, the Musketeers were able to leave the Rhein Fire at a distance. Again, Paris was able to count on his excellent defense.
The Musketeers therefore reassured themselves before their rest week and replace themselves in the race for the playoffs. It is more complicated for the double title holder … The Rhein Fire is in danger with a balance sheet of 1 victory for 2 defeats at the start of the season.
