We thought that Stephen Curry and/or Klay Thompson had already achieved such a performance, but Tyler Herro became last night the first player to chain two games with at least 9 3-point baskets. After his beautiful 9 out of 17 from 3-pointers against the Thunder, the Heat shooter did even better tonight with a 10 out of 15 from afar against the Rockets! It’s his career high, but also a tied franchise record. Even better, with 41 points, Herro improved his career high with the victory at the end. A career record he had just equaled against the Thunder!
“Before scoring 9 the other night, I didn’t know the record was 10 because I was told I was one short” says the best sixth man of the past season. “I had no intention of equaling the record when I started the match, but I just tried to get more positions. I think shooting more is helpful.”

With 10 award-winning shots, Herro equals Brian Shaw, Mario Chalmers and Duncan Robinson, and he was set to explode the counters with 17 points after a quarter, 25 at the break with a 6 of 8 from away. It is also the first time since LeBron James in 2014 that a Heat player has played two games with 35 points or more!
“It’s always very satisfying to see Tyler unfold” testifies Jimmy Butler, while Erik Spoelstra recalls that the Thunder, like the Rockets, were nevertheless focused on Herro. “Tyler was fantastic! There was a plan against him, but regardless, he’s too good a shooter for us not to take those 3-point shots. He must continue to assert himself in such moments. He’s an excellent shooter. He can do it as a dribble exit, or in catch-and-shoot. »
