The Bucks erase 24 points behind in the fourth quarter to shoot down the Wolves!

“” Each match counts for us, we have been in wholesale playoffs for five games. As the final stages approaches, Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Bucks have just demonstrated that there was no question of them to let go of a meeting from which they were not seen to get out of it. Wisconsin players found the resources to come back from nowhere and win against the Wolves (110-103).

And once is not custom, it did not take a giannis antetokounmpo gigantic-although a third triple-double (10th in the season) … immediately (23 points, 13 rebounds and 10 passes) has absolutely nothing banal-to win. By his side, many soldiers, starting with the ghost Bobby Portis and the just as energetic Kevin Porter Jr, brought a decisive ecot in a memorable fourth.

Before that, the Wolves had dominated the debates. Already at the top of 11 points at the break (45-56), visitors had signed a huge sequence towards the end of the third quarter with four award-winning baskets, consecutively registered. Of which three for the only Donte Divincenzo, very successful behind the arc and well helped by the ball circulation of his team and opposing defensive shortcomings.

A terrible 23-0!

With him, Minnesota offered himself 18 points ahead (62-80) three minutes from the start of the last period. Approcusing aggravated five minutes later at 24 units (71-95) on a new award-winning basket of the replacement. The Bucks then did not take the time to procrastinate because Gary Trent Jr. instantly signed an action at 3+1 to launch a crazy revolt.

Kevin Porter Jr. chained with an authoritarian dunk to shake the local public, while Giannis Antetokounmpo continued with a 7-0 alone. Opposite, Julius Randle, Anthony Edwards and the Wolves, had their basketball, no longer being able to obtain the good shots previously generated. The Bucks storm did not stop and resulted in a terrible 23-0!

On this, the two teams tied (97-97) three minutes from the end, Kevin Porter Jr. and Rudy Gobert blurred After a screen laid by the French in the opposite area. This stormy sequence, ended by a technical fault each, was still going to enjoy the Bucks, signing an additional 8-0! The wolves were struck by the energy ride opposite, to the point of taking a terrible 39-8 in the last ten minutes and to bow.

What to remember

A return of fire. Winners 43 to… 10 of the last twelve minutes of this game, the Bucks have signed their biggest comeback in a fourth quarter since at least the 1996-97 season. The Bucks had lost the last 276 regular season games or playoffs in which they had been carried out at least 20 points in the last period.

Quantity of X factors on the Bucks bench. Back of suspension, Bobby Portis resumed his good habits by signing a double-double. But the most impressive of the bench contributors was Kevin Porter Jr, whose authoritarian dunk, the offensive rebounds, the coupéed passes (5 interceptions), the “Alley-oop” towards Giannis … all in the last period. Another “JR.” stood out in the person of Gary Trent, at the start of the comeback, which we saw diving on the balloons. Without forgetting AJ Green who signed the equalization on a award -winning basket.

Occasion missed for wolves. While the Bucks have been on a 5th success of rank, and should not move from 5th place to the East, the Wolves lacked the opportunity to go back to the classification to the west. A victory would have made it possible to return to the height of the Grizzlies and the Nuggets, classified above the positions of the Play-in. Instead, they occupy 8th place. According to the events of this last week, they could bite their fingers by thinking about this final.
