Spurs will now play at the Frost Bank Center

We knew since the summer of 2021 that the name of the Spurs hall would soon change. The page of the AT&T Center was going to turn, but we were still waiting to know which company would come to put its name in the place.

The Texas franchise has just announced an agreement with Frost Bank. Victor Wembanyama and his teammates will therefore evolve next season in the Frost Bank Center.

“We believe in San Antonio, it’s our home. For 50 years, we have been proud to be the sponsor and partner of Spurs.said the bank’s CEO, Phil Green, on the Spurs website. “We are so excited to bring together two of San Antonio’s most beloved brands”slips RC Buford, the president of the Spurs.

The bank and the franchise are indeed very close since the Frost Bank was the first sponsor present on the Spurs jersey, in 2018. Further back in time, Tom C. Frost was one of the actors who participated in the move of the franchise, then in ABA, to San Antonio in 1973.

This announcement comes after that of a new training center at 500 million dollars and while rumors around a change of room in a few years have recently emerged.
