Jusuf Nurkic out for at least the next four weeks | NBA

Damian Lillard will find Jusuf Nurkic… in the infirmary. The Blazers thus announce that the Bosnian pivot, yet in great shape before the All-Star Break, will be absent at least for four weeks.

Portland indeed explains that his player will treat plantar fasciitis of the left foot, an inflammation of the plantar fascia, the sole of the foot. A problem with which he has nevertheless been playing since the start of the campaign.

Under these conditions, we should not see Jusuf Nurkic again before the end of March and as Portland’s regular season ends on April 10, there is a chance that we will not see him again at all. Knowing in addition that the pivot is an unprotected free agent at the end of the season, one wonders if we will see him again even in the jersey of Portland.

Nevertheless, with their four-game winning streak, the Blazers are still in the running for the play-in, as they are currently 10th in the West with 25 wins and 34 losses.
