Giannis Antetokounmpo works with the “coach to the stars”

He is the “new coach to the stars”. Seen Monday evening in Boston to celebrate the Celtics title, alongside his “client” Jayson Tatum, Drew Hanlen then took the first plane to Greece, heading to Athens to find Giannis Antetokounmpo. We write “find” because he was already in Greece ten days ago.

THE Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports that he was already working with the Bucks power forward, but also MarJon Beauchamp, Andre Jackson Jr. and Chris Livingston, who had accompanied their leader to Athens.

Joel Embiid's personal trainer

Founder of Pure Basketball Sweatshirt, Drew Hanlen is a former college basketball player. The 34-year-old has made a name for himself in the NBA by working with NBA stars every summer. Before Jayson Tatum and Giannis Antetokounmpo, he worked with Bradley Beal, Zach LaVine, Kelly Oubre Jr, Jordan Clarkson, RJ Barrett and recently Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and Tyrese Haliburton.

If for some, like the “Greek Freak”, it is a collaboration of a few days, or even a few weeks, you should know that Drew Hanlen works all year round with Joel Embiid.
