
Each Tuesday, the Euroleague decided to unveil five players from its top 25 of the 21st century. The first cuvée? Nando de Colo, Sergio Llull, Ramunas Siskauskas, Vassilis Spanoulis And Nikola Vujcic !
The cream of the cream, the Spaniard Sergio Llull having won the competition three times (2015, 2018 and 2023) and having been MVP (2017) with Real Madrid. The Lithuanian Ramunas Siskauskas won it twice, with the Panathinaikos and the CSKA Moscow (2007 and 2008), also ending once MVP (2008). The Greek Vassilis Spanoulis was three times champion (2009, 2012 and 2013) with Panathinaikos and Olympiakos, being MVP (2013), while Croatian Nikola Vujcic won the competition twice (2004 and 2005 ) With the Maccabi Tel Aviv.
Obvious choices, like that of Nando de Colo, the second best marker in the history of the Euroleague.
An exceptional year 2016
The current ASVEL player has also won the Queen competition of the Old Continent twice, with the CSKA Moscow (2016 and 2019). He had even absolutely won everything in 2016 by finishing MVP from the Euroligue but also the best marker of the regular season and MVP of the Final Four.
