And this little game is the Jazz (17-65) which won the timpani with the worst assessment of the history of the club. Enough to obtain 14% chance of choosing first, just like the Wizards (18-64) and Hornets (19-63).
The difference is that Utah is assured to select in the top 5while Washington can choose in 6th position and Charlotte can fall in 7th place.
Sixers maximize their chances of keeping their choice
By crossing the end of the season, the Sixers have kept 64% chance of keeping their draft choice, protected 1-6. Nevertheless, this “pick” will go to the Thunder if ever Philadelphia is placed in the 7th, 8th or 9th place. As a reminder, Oklahoma City had recovered this draft choice five years ago, when Philly got rid of Al Horford.
For their part, the Suns will not keep their choice of Draft, which will go to the Rockets or the Nets.
Note however that places 11 to 14 are not yet fixed and will depend on the results of the Play-in. It is indeed the teams that will not participate in the playoffs that will end in the “Lottery”.
