Home videos of Stephen Curry
Combining archive footage, interviews and of course the actions of the spectacular Warriors leader, the documentary looks back on the complicated beginnings of Stephen Currygone from a weak and almost anonymous player in the small university of Davidson, to the planetary superstar quadruple NBA champion and double MVP!
“The thing we would expect is that we follow in Steph’s footsteps during the season, in the quest for a new title, etc…”, explains Peter Nicks, the director. “But we really wanted to focus on his story with Davidson. He was not known at all at the time and we wanted to come back to the importance of coach Bob McKillop in Steph’s life. How the community there is very connected too. It is this part of his life that is less known. And then, from our first meeting, he was kind enough to share some of his personal videos, when he was in college. We immediately understood the idea of talking about this period of his life, which was very important to him. »
