Jeff Green would like to make two more seasons

With Al Horford, Mike Conley and Kevin Durant, Jeff Green is the last “survivor” of the 2007 Draft. The future first choice of Draft, Cooper Flagg, was only six months old.

That is to say if the veteran of the Rockets (38 years old) is an old one with his 18 seasons (including one white). But like his comrades of Draft, or like Chris Paul and LeBron James, he wants to play extensions.

“I want to play for as long as possible. The goal is to go up to twenty seasons, so there are two left ”,, precise Jeff Green. “Houston has been my house for two years and I want it to continue like this. I hope that we will succeed that I retire here, be it my 20 or my 21st year. My wife said twenty and that's it. So I think I know what to stick to: two years more. »»

Whoever wore 11 different jerseys is free this summer and comes out of a very discreet season, the leeter in his very career, with 5.4 small points on average in 12 minutes, in just 32 games played. And in playoffs, the fault of a precious Steven Adams, it was even more lanhe, with five minutes in total against the Warriors in the first round.

If he stays in Houston, he should not have more playing time for his last years in the NBA. But whatever, the important thing is to be there.

“It was pleasant. The path was long but I like this sport, I am always passionate. I still love to work as much. I want to continue until I could no longer because the window to practice this sport that I like is short ”he concludes.
