NHL recap December 1: Predators steal game from Devils

The New Jersey Devils thought they would become the first NHL team to reach 20 wins this season, but the Nashville Predators tied the game with nine seconds left before winning in overtime on the count. from 4 to 3, Thursday evening.

Mikael Granlund jumped on a rebound in the slot with just nine seconds left in regulation, before Ryan Johansen made the difference in extra time.

Johansen finished the game with two goals and an assist.

The Devils had taken the lead with three unanswered goals in the second period through Kevin Bahl, Jesper Bratt and Alexander Holtz.
