Yannick Ngakoue signs with the Bears

Yannick Ngakoue’s travels continue. This time, direction Chicago.

ESPN announces that the defensive end has reached a one-year, $10.5 million deal with the Bears. Of this amount, 10 million would be guaranteed.

The operation is very important for Bears who were sorely lacking in quality and depth on the pass rush. Ngakoue is coming off a 9.5 sack season with the Colts. He had 10 the previous year with the Raiders. He is still only 28 years old, and therefore has no reason not to continue his momentum.

Since 2020, Ngakoue has worn the jersey of the Jaguars, Vikings, Ravens, Raiders and Colts.

With just 20 sacks, Chicago has the league’s worst pass rush in 2022.
