The 2025 Draft in Green Bay, the 2026 Super Bowl in San Francisco

There are 107,395 residents in Green Bay. A figure that should probably double in April 2025. Because the NFL announced Monday that the city has been chosen for the organization of the Draft that year.

This is obviously a great first. ESPN recalls that this is the result of long years of work. The Packers had explained in 2016 that they wanted to welcome the large selection of university players. Since then, hotels, restaurants and reception areas have been built to handle the crowds that will arrive in town.

Detroit had been preferred to Green Bay for the organization of the 2024 Draft. But this time, the Cheesheads hold their spring event. The 2025 Draft festivities in Green Bay will take place in and around Lambeau Field, the city’s legendary stadium.

The Super Bowl returns to San Francisco

A few months later, in February 2026, San Francisco will host the other big NFL party. Unofficial for a while, the decision to award Super Bowl 60 to the city was also made official on Monday.

Ten years after being the scene of Super Bowl 50 won by the Broncos against the Panthers, Levi’s Stadium will once again host the Big Game.

Changes are already announced compared to the 2016 festivities. The events held in downtown San Francisco will take place this time towards the waterfront, near the new Golden State Warriors hall. It is also in the Chase Center that should take place the Media Day on Monday evening. In 2016, the teams and the media had to go all the way to San Jose for this event!

The stadium, unfortunately, will always remain so far from everything, in Santa Clara, 70 kilometers from the city center! The good news is that a priori, this time, there will be no Coldplay at halftime.
