Super Bowl LVII achieves the 3rd highest viewership in US history

If the TV audiences of the Super Bowl sag on the side of France, they leave strongly on the other side of the Atlantic. Monday evening, the NFL and FOX announced that the first figures reveal that 113 million people would have watched Super Bowl LVII in the United States.

This would therefore make this match the third highest audience in the history of American television, behind two other Super Bowls, that of 2015 (Patriots-Seahawks, 114.4 million) and that of 2017 (Patriots-Falcons, 113 .6 million).

Above all, it is therefore the largest audience for six years.

As for the halftime show, Rihanna’s performance peaked at 118.7 million viewers. Again, it’s the best score for a halftime show since Katy Perry in 2015.

Progress also on the web, with an average of 7 million legal streams, an increase of 18% compared to last year. Super Bowl LVII was the most streamed Super Bowl in history.
