Seahawks: serious injury for Jamal Adams

Pete Carroll would not say it, but the player’s upcoming surgery leaves him with very little chance of returning.

This Tuesday, Pete Carroll confirmed that Jamal Adams (Safety, Seahawks) suffered a serious knee injury on Monday night against the Broncos. As announced after the match, it would be a quadriceps tendon injury.

“Yeah, he’s hurt,” Carroll told Seattle Sports 710-AM, a local radio station. “He damaged his knee, and there is going to be work on that. I don’t know the extent of the damage yet, but I know it’s serious. “

If Pete Carroll has not said so, any point therefore towards a package for the whole season for the player in view of the time necessary to recover from such an intervention. NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo confirmed that was the most likely guess.

“It breaks your heart. He loves this game so much. He will be sorely missed,” Carroll said.

Obviously, the last few days have shown, with JJ Watt in particular, that fears of serious injuries could turn into good news.

After shoulder problems which caused him to miss four games last year, and finger problems, Adams continues to accumulate health problems. And leaves his team orphan of a player on whom it invested a lot, early in the season.
