Third choice of the 2010 Draft, pillar of Buccaneers who were not then in a frankly positive spiral, six times Pro Bowler, once All Pro… At the end of a very fine career, Gerald McCoy announced this Friday that he officially leaving the NFL grounds.
He did it with a nice video, simply titled “Thank you,” uploaded to Twitter.
The now ex-player, 35, played with the Buccaneers from 2010 to 2018, what will go down as the best years of his career. He is also number four in the history of the franchise on the number of sacks, with 54.5 achievements.
Then he left for Carolina in 2019, with an injury-free season in 2020 with the Cowboys, only one game before re-injury with the Raiders in 2021, and another shut-out season in 2022.
