JJ Watt announces his retirement

Only two more matches to take advantage of the eldest of the Watt brothers. The player announced this afternoon that he would end his brilliant career at the end of the season.

Triple defender of the year, “JJ” will have marked his generation with his talent and a rich and productive career despite a few seasons marred by injuries. The only real downside is the lack of a title or even a scoring run in the playoffs.

Drafted in 2011 by the Texans, the defender has long worn these colors, becoming the image of the franchise and an icon for Houston fans. Arrives at the Cardinals in 2021, his ambition to play the leading roles has not had the expected success. Seven times All Pro, author of 111.5 sacks, 3 defensive touchdowns but also 3 offensive touchdowns, Watt is heading for the Hall of Fame for sure.
