Jarrett Stidham had created one of the surprises of the 2022 season by being propelled as a starter at the expense of Derek Carr. His story with the Raiders will ultimately come down to two starts, for as many defeats.
NFL Network reports that Stidham has signed for two seasons and $10 million with the Broncos. The contract includes $5 million guaranteed.
At 26, Stidham will find himself on the sidelines, in a role of lining Russell Wilson.
He had managed some pretty decent outings with Las Vegas last year. Against the 49ers, he threw for 365 yards, 3 touchdowns and 2 interceptions.
On the Raiders side, with the departures of Carr and now Stidham, the pitching position is wide open. Several American media are reporting that the franchise is interested in Jimmy Garoppolo.
