A few days away from switching to the 2023 part of the season calendar, in which he has still not taken part, Miles Bridges officially seems on its way back.
In effect, according to information from ESPNthe winger of Hornets is getting closer to an agreement for a new contract with his club, he who has been a protected free agent since the end of his contract rookie last season.
What would be the first step towards the resumption of his career, the second being a probable suspension which the league would impose on him, in relation to the domestic violence charges which have pushed him to the side since the start of the summer, and for which he had negotiated his sentence with the prosecutor last month.
In other words: Miles Bridges is officially on his way back, but there is no guarantee that he will play this season, because everything will depend on the length of the suspension imposed by the league.
This is nonetheless excellent news in sporting terms for Michael Jordan’s franchise, stuck this season in the slums of the Eastern Conference (9 wins – 24 losses, 14th), and which will find its winger, author last season his career best (20.2 points, 7 rebounds and 3.8 assists).
