
Twelve years ago, Nike launched the “N7” program, with the goal of accelerating and promoting access to sports in “native” communities in the United States, especially young people. The first model to benefit from an “N7” colorway in a nod to this program was the KD Zoom IV, and the tradition continued until the KD 8 in 2015. Of Native American origin through his mother, Kyrie Irving then took over.
Twelve years later, it is therefore quite natural that the KD 17, 17th signature shoe of Kevin Durantis making its return to the N7 range with this mainly turquoise blue and black colourway. The upper takes on a little Bahamian flag feel with touches of yellow on four of its ten eyelets. The N7 logo appears in white on black on the tongue of the left shoe with a new pattern on the heel.
The white midsole is matched with a red stripe, while the outsole appears in translucent blue. This colorway of the KD 17 “N7” is expected to release in Fall 2024. Its price is announced at $150.
