The Bulls are unleashed on the Pistons: + 46! | NBA

Winners the day before the Jazz, the Pistons embarked on the best foot in this duel of “neighbors”, with an Isaiah Stewart – Cade Cunningham duo who found themselves with their eyes closed. The Bulls struggled to find the target during the first minutes, with a Nikola Vucevic who missed three “hook shots” in a row. But Billy Donovan’s men pull themselves together, and with a DeMar DeRozan on fire (13 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists already), they regain control of operations. Chicago’s “second unit” does a great job, with a hard-hitting Coby White on the stick and an energize Ayo Dosomnu. At the break, Billy Donovan’s men are in front (61-52).

The Bulls put their foot on the accelerator and they put enormous pressure on the Pistons. Result: they sign a 17-0. Vucevic scores at all costs (16 points in the third quarter), and the Chicago steamroller is in full swing. The last quarter is a long “garbage time”, with two coaches who still apply to work the less used elements. The Bulls earn their 27th success of the season (133-87).

WHAT YOU MUST REMEMBER

A fatal 17-0. Dwayne Casey’s men were hit by a cyclone during the first four minutes of the second half. 0/7 on shots, 6 lost balls and above all a scathing 17-0 taken in the middle of the pear on the way back from the locker room and after a rather interesting first half. The first time-out taken by the Detroit coach was loud, very loud…

The Bulls playoffs. Zach LaVine’s teammates haven’t lost to the Pistons in 10 games. Chicago also remains on nine straight wins at home, and the result is more interesting with the arrival of the Nets and then the Warriors. We’ll see what the Bulls really have in mind!

TOPS/FLOPS

DeMar DeRozan. 20 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists for one of the regular season MVP favorites while not playing the last sixteen minutes of the game… The former Raptor is playing the best basketball of his career, and showing involvement every night, regardless of the opponent who presents himself in front of him. Poor Hamidou Diallo suffered DeRozan’s “moves” for many minutes.

Nikola Vucevic. His 16 points during the 3rd quarter time definitively knocked out the Pistons, who could not cope with the game science of the Francophile pivot. While he had started the match with a 0 out of 4, he finished with 10 out of 18 on shots! Vooch finds the fullness of his means after a sluggish start to the season, and justifies his third option status a little more each day alongside DeRozan and LaVine.

Isaiah stewart. 10 points, 6 rebounds, 1 against in 9 minutes in the first quarter for the buffalo of the Pistons, who moved damn Nikola Vucevic. Impressive in combativeness, the former Washington is one of the few satisfactions of the Detroit workforce.

Killian Hayes. Another difficult evening for the young Frenchman, who often seems late in defense, and a little lost on the floor. His team and his teammates do not help him, but the left-hander still does not manage to impose himself with the stick, and to put his paw on the game of his people.
