Thaddeus Young to the Suns, it's done

Sent to Brooklyn with Dennis Schroder during the trade deadline, Thaddeus Young did not stay long in his new team since he quickly negotiated his departure with the Nets to join the Suns and thus get involved in the fight for the title.

The arrival of the 35-year-old interior in Arizona was made official on Tuesday by the Arizona franchise and James Jones, president of the Suns, was pleased to have recovered a reinforcement of choice, who will bring on and off from the field, with his experience. Among active players, it should be remembered that Thaddeus Young is the 3rd most experienced player in the NBA behind LeBron James and Chris Paul, with 1,162 career matches.

“Thad' is a highly respected veteran who improves our team in pursuit of our goal of winning an NBA championship. Thad' is extremely intelligent and plays with intensity. His size and defensive abilities add versatility to our roster,” did he declare in the Suns press release.

Operational tomorrow?

For his part, the player thanked Toronto and the Raptors for his two-year stint in Canada, where he performed in the rotation role in addition to being a reliable relay for his coaches in the Canadian locker room.

“A big thank you to Toronto, my forever family! Grateful for the love, the lessons and the memories. To my younger brothers, keep pushing and find your balance”, he tweeted.
