The new “coaching staff” of Pistons takes shape because, after offering a golden bridge to their new coach Monty Williams, the leaders of the Michigan franchise complete the arrival of Stephen Silas.
The former Rockets coach (59 wins and 177 losses for three years), dismissed at the end of the regular season, will take on the role of assistant to Detroit. A function he knows well, since he successively occupied it at the Hornets, the Cavaliers, the Warriors, the Bobcats and the Mavericks, between 2000 and 2020.
Specialist of the attack, Stephen Silas will have, as the main right-hand man of Monty Williams, the mission to help the young Pistons to take a step forward in this area, in order to find the playoffs as quickly as possible.
