Stats & Highlights | Sixers and Nuggets resist, Bulls disappoint | NBA

The Magic had been waiting for a home victory for almost two months and remained on four defeats in a row. The victory against the Bulls of a big Demar DeRozan is therefore good. Watch out, Chicago is losing ground in the Eastern Conference…

After their crash against the Clippers, the Sixers bounced back against the Spurs and the Nuggets avoided the Pistons’ trap. In both cases, Joel Embiid and Nikola Jokic were once again dominant.

Orlando–Chicago: 114-95

Despite DeMar DeRozan’s 41 points, the Bulls missed out on this game. Both offensively and defensively. The Magic went 17-3 in the second and third quarters and took a 20-point lead.

Chicago’s reaction comes quickly, with a 10-0, but Orlando finds solutions to keep the gap. The Wagner brothers compile 41 points (23 for Moritz, 18 for Franz) in the Floridians’ first home victory since December 1!

San Antonio – Philadelphia: 109-115

Seth Curry still absent, the Sixers rely more than ever on Joel Embiid. With a small 8-0 between the end of the first and the start of the second quarter, Philadelphia takes off.

With his 38 points, the All-Star pivot dominates the debates and until the last quarter, Doc Rivers’ men, who defend well, are not worried. Then, the Spurs pass an 8-4 to regain possession, after a basket from Dejounte Murray. It’s still Joel Embiid who closes the deal on the free throw line.

Denver-Detroit: 117-111

The Nuggets generally controlled the game, but never killed the proceedings. Which has always left the Pistons a chance, thanks in particular to the baskets of Cade Cunningham. At the end of the third quarter, Denver went 17-3 and took a 16-point lead. We then say that the meeting is over, but the Detroit players are still coming back.

On a basket from Cory Joseph, less than two minutes from time, they even equalized! Except that the Pistons then chain the blunders (lost ball, offensive fault) in the “money time” and Nikola Jokic, him, author of 34 points, does not tremble on the free throw line.
