Currently far from having finished with their reconstruction, the Blazers are sure to liven up the transfer market in the weeks to come, in the event of an attractive offer.
Thus, several of their players are likely to pack their bags and the first three names who return to ESPNthese are those of Jeremy Grant, Anfernee Simons And Robert Williams III.
That is, three players under contract at least until 2026, who are starting to have success in the NBA and who therefore have the typical profile to interest teams aiming for the playoffs, if not the title.
The fact remains that Jerami Grant, who earns $30 million per year, does not have the easiest salary to transfer, while Anfernee Simons and especially Robert Williams III are known for their physical fragility. Putting together a “deal” will not be easy, but several teams are closely monitoring everyone’s situation, while the managers of Portland will have to decide about their future in Oregon.
Note that players like Deandre Ayton and Matisse Thybulle also represent credible transfer candidates, even if their rating is not the highest.
