“Malik Monk should be mentioned for the title of best 6th man of the season. I just put that there (…). He should start getting mentioned, especially if he continues to play well.” Mike Brown was right there a few days ago by officially launching the mobilization campaign around Malik Monk.
The latter gave it back to him since after having signed his biggest offensive game of the season, at 30 points, against Phoenix, he compiled two outings at 20 units for two victories, against Indiana then yesterday against Chicago, with 5 assists, 2 rebounds and 2 bonus steals in 24 minutes of play.
“I’m just trying to bring energy. I know I can score, so I just try to go out there and do everything else and let the attack come to me, because I know I have that ability to score.”reacted the person concerned.

Capable of lining up big series in a short time off the bench, Monk is the symbol of this diversity of threats in attack which is currently the strength of Sacramento, in addition to delighting his leader and former teammate in Kentucky, De’Aaron Fox.
“We’ve already talked about how rich our squad is, and I feel like we’re showing it. We had several guys who were able to show through big parties. I feel like everything is falling into place.” slipped the leader.

What legitimately place the band at Malik Monk among the contenders for another race, that of direct qualification for the playoffs.
“We are legit. We have our place, because Mike Brown is going to push us so hard that we can’t not be there. There are a lot of things that come into play. We are a young team and a lot of guys need to go to the playoffs. Many of us have not been there yet and we are all aiming for the same goal”continued Malik Monk.
