Klay Thompson really didn't like Tari Eason's roomy t-shirt

“Warriors, come out of play”. The menacing and cult phrase from the film “The Warriors” was used during the meeting between Houston and Golden State, Tari Eason displaying it on a t-shirt.

At the end of the match, largely won by the visitors, Draymond Green And Klay Thompson shocked the Texan audience by repeating the phrase as their own while Tari Eason took off her t-shirt when leaving the room. For the “Splash Brother”, this little provocation from an injured player was unwelcome.

“It’s a bit lame, especially when we’re not even playing.”, explained Klay Thompson. “It's one thing if you play, if you're on the pitch and you can take charge. But just trolling from the bench? What is this ? Every time we chamber, we are on the ground. That’s all I have to say about it.”

Stephen Curry just wants motivated teammates

This is not really true since we remember that Klay Thompson had violently attacked Piston Rodney McGruder while he himself was injured, and that he was commenting on the Warriors match.

” I adore [mais] if you say that, you have to play”confirms Draymond Green. “You can’t say that without playing. But I know what type of player he is. He likes it all. He is ready to take on the challenge… I hope that next year he will say the same thing and that we will not fight for the play-in, but for the best places.”

For Stephen Curry, it doesn't matter where his teammates' motivation comes from…

“No matter what your motivation is on a personal level, whether you look ahead or behind, you have to look at the goal. For us it is about maintaining this dynamic, because it is more than likely that everything will be decided in a single match. I don't worry about what other people watch (to motivate themselves), but we have to keep doing it, because the results are there, when we are motivated and determined” he concludes.
