In Chicago, Chris Duarte and Torrey Craig take the door

The Bulls have paved the way for major changes with the departure of Zach Lavine to allow San Antonio and Sacramento to get along for the Trade de'aaron Fox to Texas.

But before formalizing the arrivals of Be Jones, Kevin Huerter And Zach Collinsthe management of Chicago had to separate of two players to make room for them. These are two “disappointments” of the workforce of Billy Donovan who were finally chosen: Chris Duarte and Torrey Craig.

Dominican international, Chris Duarte has never managed to adapt to his new environment after a season in Sacramento which had already resulted in failure. He only played crumbs this season with less than 5 minutes per match in 17 games played. More generally, we never saw Chris Duarte aggressive and versatile of his first NBA experience in Indiana from 2021 to 2023.

Torrey Craig was for his part in a second season without relief after having shown good things during the previous exercise with the Bulls, in his characteristic style of “glue guy”. In recent times, however, he had especially been talked about by the formalization of his relationship with rapper Megan Thee Stallion.

Note that the Bulls should still be active until the “Trade Deadline”, and have not yet completely excluded the possibility of using Tre Jones and/or Kevin Huerter as exchange coins to mount other trades. Note that they also recovered control of their choice from the first 2025 round of San Antonio in the exchange …
