As reported by the Sun-Sentinel, the Miami shooter will take advantage of his team’s trip to Los Angeles to have finger surgery during the day. Victim of a torn ligament, he had been playing with this injury since November and this is perhaps what explains (in part) his poor performance this season (only 6.9 points on average, at 33% to 3-pts, and irregular playing time).
On positions 2/3/4, the absence of Duncan Robinson should benefit Max Strus, Victor Oladipo, Gabe Vincent or even Haywood Highsmith, or even Jamal Cain, in rotation of Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro and Caleb Martin.
