After being announced for weeks at Real Madrid, Dennis Smith Jr. had finally joined the Madrid club in January. But now, after barely a month, Chris Haynes tells us that he is already leaving the Spanish capital!
Like Lonnie Walker IV with the Sixers, the target of the 27-year-old leader is quite simple: to return to the United States to find an NBA franchise for the end of the season. He will only have played four small meetings with the Spanish champions in title (two in Liga Endesa and two in Euroligue), for starry statistics.
Despite impressive athletic qualities, Dennis Smith Jr. had been lugged for several team seasons in the NBA team (Dallas, New York, Detroit, Portland, Charlotte and Brooklyn). Largely because of its outdoor shoot, not sufficiently reliable. In career, he still displays 9.7 points, 4.2 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.2 interception on average.
