For two matches, Chris Paul has played more than 40 minutes and this is explained by the physical concerns of Cameron Payne since the substitute playmaker was hit in the right wrist against Indiana.
Injured in the first quarter, he only played 6 minutes against the Pacers and was not there against Utah. It was therefore “CP3” who took care of everything with talent.
But at 36 years old and even if the All-Star explained that he felt good physically, Monty Williams would logically want to use him less. Except that it may be complicated because Cameron Payne will have to stay in the infirmary for two weeks, thus announces PHNX Sports.
There is still good news for the Suns: Jae Crowder, also hit in the left wrist in the game against the Pacers and also absent against the Jazz, is nothing serious. The former Boston winger is expected to return in the coming days.
