Donovan Mitchell had the first chance to wear his sixth signature shoe, the DON Issue 6, last April during the playoffs with Cleveland. Two months later, while the player has just signed a three-year contract extension, the pair is finally available on the major market, and in particular in France, with this first radiant “Purple Bust” colorway.
For this new model, adidas has opted for a new design, with a mesh upper superimposed with reinforcements on the upper part. For this first version, it's all about gradients, going from orange to midnight blue via pink and purple at the upper. The midsole takes up the same code but in reverse, the back of the pair is displayed in midnight blue while the front gradually goes up to orange.
The finishes appear in black and green, particularly on the tongue and collar. Finally, the three stripes stand out in black on the upper, while the inscription “DON” is visible in red on the pull tab.
While waiting for the release of the next colors, the DON Issue 6 “Purple Bust” is available on Basket4Ballers at a price of 120 euros.
