The knockout stages were not tender with the pretended “favorite” teams of the competition. If Germany won easily against Portugal (85-58), not without having fought for three quarters, other nations like Greece on Sunday or Turkey had to fight to reach the quarter-finals, while the adventure is already over for Serbia and France!
This gives the arrival a table unexpected to say the least at the quarterfinals, with a Finland-Georgia for the winners of the two biggest “Upsets” of the knockout stages, and at the head of the Germany-Slovenia which could be worth the detour, between the Germanic collective organized around the Schröder-Wagner tandem, and a Slovenian training which is XXL repeated by Luka Doncic.
The four games will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday in Riga (Latvia). As a reminder, all the matches until the end of the competition will be broadcast by beIN SPORTS.
