The Red Sox are actively trying to trade Bobby Dalbec

The Boston Red Sox have been surprising since the start of this campaign, with a record of 22 wins against 19 losses. And if this is possible, it is because of the performance of the devastating attack of the formation of Massachusetts.

To the point that the first and third baseman Bobby Dalbec no longer has a place in the offensive lineup of the Red Bottoms, considering the presence of Triston Casas and Rafael Devers on the corners of the infield. It was also returned to the AAA level after last Friday’s game.

It is therefore for this reason that the Red Sox are actively trying to send him elsewhere, according to what Peter Gammons suggests.

In two stints with Boston this season, the 27-year-old posted a .182 batting average with a .308 on-base percentage.

His performances are more encouraging in Triple-A, however, as evidenced by his .849 OPS with Worcester. This is what makes some people say that Dalbec can occupy a regular position in the MLB and that several formations are interested in acquiring his services.

However, the main interested party is not too worried about the situation.

I think other teams are interested in me. But I really haven’t given it too much thought, honestly. It’s not something I can control at all, no matter what I want or don’t want. Obviously I want to play every day, but I love being here. I love these guys. I love this team, the staff, the organization. I have the same mindset no matter where I’m going to be.

It remains to be seen who he ends up with and when the pact will be concluded.
