The Braves finally thought they could win, but Shohei Ohtani got up

Yesterday was the Bobblehead Shohei Ohtani evening in Los Angeles. But that, the Braves did not care: they only wanted to go get a gain for the first time of the season.

For their part, the Dodgers did not want to lose their first meeting of the campaign.

Let's say it started well for the brave since the latter led 5-0 after a round and a half of work. The club could hope to get out of it, finally.

But it did not happen.

The Dodgers made 5-2 at the end of the second in addition to scoring a point in fourth and two in eighth. This had the effect of bringing the two teams back to the start.

And in the ninth round, Shohei Ohtani gave his own victory through his second victorious career circuit.

The Dodgers (8-0) and the Padres (7-0) are therefore the only undefeated clubs in the MLB… and the Braves (0-7) are the only team unable to buy the slightest victory since the start of the season.

No one has ever made the series after starting 0-7.

The Atlanta club thought that yesterday was the day to get out of it due to the villain start of the Dodgers (Dave Roberts even said that there was no business to win the match due to the first two rounds), but it did not happen.

Today, the brave will have leave and Friday, it will be the opening match against the Marlins. The opportunity will be good to finally seek a first victory this season.

  • Rafael Devers placed the ball in a safe place, Garrett Crochet launched eight sleeves and the Red Sox (3-0) beat the Orioles.
