Could JD Martinez end up at the Texas Rangers?
According to information from Jon Heyman, who is still well connected when the time comes to talk about Scott Boras customers, JD Martinez would have an offer (non-garanty) on the part of the Rangers.
Basically, it surely means that the Rangers (who need attack) would give him a minor contract for him to prove himself in the AAA. Because he may stand in shape at his house, in Florida, but that does not mean that he has his timing.
Will he play this season? We'll see. But time plays against him since he will need several weeks in minors to come back.
Mitch Keller on his departure?
But obviously, the more time passes and the more rumors there will be. And among the teams that may sell, we find the pirates. Apart from Andrew McCutchen and Paul Skenes, everyone is potentially available.
And Ken Rosenthal said that he would not be surprised to see Mitch Keller leave.

Jon Morosi does not believe that the Royals will exchange it. But if two impact strikers are on the table in return for its services, it could become a situation to monitor.
Even if KC is lacking in attack and has a very good launcher staff, I do not believe that to exchange a launcher starting from impact in the middle of the race for series, a good idea.
