Stop everything you are doing. That's it, the scarcity is finally over!
The Colorado Rockies finally put an end to their devastating sequence of 22 consecutive series without victory last night (Tuesday), by beating the Marlins of Miami by the brand of 3-2. The earnings on Monday and Tuesday allow them to take the lead 2-0 in the three game series, which gives them official victory in the series.
And the Rockies sealed the outcome of the match with a fairly epic end. Indeed, at the end of the ninth round, when the Rockies led by a point and found themselves with a withdrawal of the victory, the deputy striker of the Marlins Heriberto Hernandez catapulted a ball in the center.
At the time, it seemed that Hernandez had created equality, but the Brenton Doyle center from Center destroyed the chances of the Marlins to return to the meeting by performing a whole wrestling.
It was the eleventh Victory of Colorado during this catastrophic season. Before Monday's victory, Rockies had become the fastest MLB team to reach 50 defeats in a season since 1884.
Now they are on a series of two consecutive victories. WOW!
The latter will try to sweep the Marlins this afternoon (Wednesday), before going to measure themselves at the New York Mets, leaders in the eastern section of the National League, from Friday.
It is to Kyle Freeland that the heavy task will return to complete the broom, he and his average deserved point of 5.72 points which have still not experienced victory in 2025. He will face Calrill for the Marlins.
